Founded by two-time award-winning designer Mariah Harris, we help entrepreneurs and personal brands in Washington, D.C. and across the DMV build bold, beautiful identities that attract their dream clients and position them as the experts they already are. The Story
I'm a Washington, D.C.-based brand and web designer, creative director, and two-time Gold Hermes Creative Award winner with 9+ years of professional design experience.
I founded Joyful Rose Creative to do one thing: help entrepreneurs, business owners and organizations personal brands show up with the confidence, clarity, and visual identity they deserve. Whether you're launching something new or leveling up what already exists — I'm here to make sure your brand reflects exactly how good you actually are.
Armed with a BFA in Visual Communications from Northern Illinois University, I've spent years as a senior graphic designer in corporate environments while building JRC alongside it. That dual perspective means I bring big-brand design thinking to personal brand budgets — without the agency price tag.
Originally from Chicago, now making waves in the DMV — when I'm not crafting visual identities, you can find me dancing, planning unforgettable events for the people I love, and, naturally, beat-facing.
